British Columbia is better then Alaska, you'll have to trust me on that one, but I admit its beautiful country, but BC has lots to offer.
As for guides you have to be careful, as for the few I know there quality people as well do as much as possible to keep the hunt in fair chase, spot and stock is really a good way to spring hunt, I've seen many already and will see more once the sku…

- I find any reason I can to be in the back country. I'm an avid hunter, fisher, trapper, and predator caller. I enjoy packing into the back country, to see areas where most people won't take the time to go see. I took up fly fishing about a year ago, and I really enjoy it

The first time I took my oldest daughter hunting with me.
She was about 8 years old at the time, we woke up early had coffee and breakfast. Loaded up in the pickup and headed out to one of my favorite places to hunt. On the way out there we went over the importance of being quite while we walked along (watch where you put your feet). When we took off in the brush, she decided it would be best if she jumped from rock to rock to avoid stepping on any sticks or crunch though the snow. I settled her down and we continued on are way.
